who can be an ace

Anyone can tryout for an Aces Baseball team.  Our teams follow USSSA, PBR and PG age guidelines for 9U-18U baseball.  So whatever the age group you want to play, you're good to play at that age as long as you don't have a birthday before 5/1.  For clarity if your player wants to play 10U baseball, he can as long as he does not turn 11 before 5/1.  Whether the team is AA / AAA / or Majors, we will always look to build teams with a core group of players (5-6) that anchor the team to the division they are playing, then we look to add 2-3 that are just above the core and 2-3 just below the core in order to establish a good cohesive group that can grow and learn together.

why should i be an ace

Many parents and players will decide that teams that win games 9U-12U are better, but then have their player start middle school baseball and realize they don't know where to be on the field in defensive situations, and since many middle school coaches never played the game they'll never know.  Because kids grow and develop at different paces, many teams win games because they have better pitchers not players, then when everyone catches up 12U-14U the team is no longer competitive.  If your player doesn't know who's the cutoff on a ball hit to RF with a runner on first or one hit to LCF with a runner on 2ND, we'd love to teach them!  Rings are great, but if you want to be a serious, coachable player with a high baseball IQ, then Aces Baseball is for you.
